Welcome to Year 4

Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check 2023

Children in Year 4 will be participating in the multiplication tables check in June. The purpose of the check is to determine whether your child can fluently recall their times tables up to 12, which is essential for future success in mathematics. 

 Year Group Homework

Here we provide details of the homework routine for the Year Group.

Homework is sent out on Thursday and to be returned Tuesday

• Weekly online Maths homework - Times Table Rock Stars and Mathletics activities
• Daily 20 minutes of reading with an Accelerated Reader quiz to complete after reading each book
• Spelling (linked to lesson)
• Creative home learning grid of activities - shared on a half termly basis
