Poppy Appeal for Remembrance - Items for Sale

SUMMARY: please can children bring money for the Poppy Appeal on Wednesday 3rd November and Friday 5th November.  Donations of 50p or more can be acknowledged with a poppy or some of the other items shown in the image below.

DETAIL: On Wednesday 3rd November and Friday 5th November, children will have the opportunity to buy some remembrance items, including poppies. At this time of the year, we remember those who have given their lives to defend our country.

• EYFS and KS1 - Year 6 will come to classes to sell poppies on these days.
• KS2 - a stall will be set up on Wednesday and Friday Break time on the KS2 playground for children to purchase poppies and other remembrance items.

The money raised will be donated to the Poppy Appeal.  Suggested amounts for the items on sale range from 50p to £1.50, but please remember the amount given is really a donation to the appeal.
