Timings of the school day

School gates will be open at 8.35am

Little Acorns	Morning session 8.30am-11.30am Lunch 11:30 -12:30 Afternoon session 12.30pm-3.30pm Full Day session: 8:30AM - 3:30pm
Little Oaks	Timings will depend on the session attended: Morning or Extended Day. Talk to any of the Nursery staff if you are still unsure of timings. Morning Session 8:45 - 11:45am Lunch 11:45 - 1:00pm Afternoon Session 1:00pm - 3:15pm
Reception	Start of day: a 'soft start' operates from 8.45am Class Starts: 8:55am Lunch: 11.45 – 1.00pm End of school day: 3.15pm Total time in a typical week - 32.5 hours
Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2)	Start of day: a 'soft start' operates from 8.45am Class Starts: 8:55 Morning Break: 10:15 - 10:30 Lunch: 12 – 1pm Afternoon Break - 15 minutes End of school day: 3.15pm Total time in a typical week - 32.5 hours
Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6)	Start of day: a 'soft start' operates from 8.45am Class Starts: 8:55 Morning Break: 10:45 - 11:00am Lunch: 12.30 – 1:30pm End of school day: 3.20pm Total time in a typical week - 33 hours

Lateness & Collection

We expect your child to arrive at school on time. Lateness disrupts the lesson for the other children and has a detrimental effect on your child's learning, therefore all class doors will be closed at 9.00am. If you arrive after 9.00am you must go via the school office to register as late. Arriving at school on time is taken very seriously at Frith Manor.

Please also collect your child on time. All children who are not picked up on time will be taken to the library where they will remain safe until collected. A record is kept of regular late collections and these will be followed up.
